Now scheduling for Private Lessons

Rick is now offering private instruction for beginner through intermediate levels in Scruggs-style, 5-string banjo. Lessons are directed to each specific student's needs. Most everything will be taught "by ear" though tablature maybe be used in limited amounts. A recording device is strongly recommended so the student can take their lesson back home with them. If needed, arrangements can be made to produce a recording. Lessons will be once per week and rates are $25 per half hour or $50 per hour. Recommended lesson length is one half hour so as to avoid saturation. Rick teaches at his home near Duncannon, Pennsylvania.
